POLICY WORK
Micro-level needs informing macro-level interventions

My journey to policy work began when I was an AmeriCorps volunteer and saw the painful struggles the youth I worked with were going through to stand up for themselves. Committed to making change, I have engaged in policy analysis and advocacy in the areas of legal services, housing and homelessness, state-level budget issues, environmental justice, LGBTQ+ youth in foster care, and most recently: broadband disparities and telehealth licensure. My future policy work will explore the intersectionality of disability justice and digital equity.
I bring a keen eye to policy analysis. As a social worker engaged in both macro and micro practice, I am able to translate policy into action and clinical needs into legislative advocacy for social work practitioners and those they serve.
